Manuscript Submission Guidelines

All manuscripts must adhere to the formatting and bibliographic requirements below. Submissions that do not conform may be returned for revision.

1. Manuscript Language & Length

  • Language is English only.
  • Length:
    • Original Research Articles may be up to 8,000 words (including references).
    • Review Articles may be up to 10,000 words.

2. Page Layout & Print Area

  • Paper Size is A4.
  • Print Area measures 17.2 cm × 24.62 cm.
  • Margins are Top/Bottom: 2.54 cm; Left/Right: 1.9 cm; Header: 1.5 cm; Footer: 1.75 cm.
  • Columns use a two-column layout, fully justified.

3. Fonts & Spacing

  • Main Text uses Times New Roman, 11 pt, single-spaced.
  • First-Line Indent equals 1.5× the character size.
  • Font Files must be TrueType or Type 1; bitmap fonts are not permitted.

4. Title Page

  • Main Title appears centered in Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold.
  • Authors appear centered below the title; names in 11 pt, bold; affiliations in 11 pt regular; include country; corresponding author’s email in 10.5 pt.
  • Dates read “Received: [date]. Revised: [date].” at the top of the first page.

5. Abstract & Keywords

  • Abstract heading is in 10 pt, bold; body is 10 pt, up to 150 words; avoid special characters and equations.
  • Keywords heading is in 10 pt, bold; list 3–6 terms, comma-separated; place a horizontal rule below.

6. Headings

  • First-Level e.g., “1. Introduction”, Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, flush left.
  • Second-Level in Times New Roman, 11 pt, bold, flush left.
  • Third-Level in Times New Roman, 11 pt, bold, flush left (use sparingly).

7. Figures & Tables

  • Embed near the first citation; resolution must be at least 300 dpi; do not use borders.
  • Captions use 10 pt, non-bold:
    • Figures have captions centered below.
    • Tables have titles centered above.
  • Number sequentially (e.g., Fig. 1, Table 1).

8. Equations & Footnotes

  • Equations are indented 5 mm; space above and below; numbers appear at the right margin (e.g., (1)).
  • Footnotes use 9 pt, single-spaced at the bottom of the column; use sparingly.

9. Declarations

  • Conflicts of Interest must be declared or state “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
  • Author Contributions use the CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization: A.A.; Data Curation: B.B.).
  • Acknowledgments list funding/support and grant numbers, if applicable.

10. References

Only journal-article references are permitted. At least 25 journal articles must be cited. All entries follow IEEE style.

11. Submission Process

  1. Register or log in at https://academicinsight.org/index.php/AIJMIE/user/register (or login page).
  2. Complete the five-step submission form, uploading the manuscript and any supplementary files.
  3. Suggest 2–3 reviewers, including affiliations and email addresses.
  4. Review and confirm metadata (title, authors, abstract, keywords).
  5. Submit and await peer review; status updates will be sent via email.
