Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The manuscript is single-spaced, uses a 11-point Times New Roman font, employs italics instead of underlining (except for URL addresses), and all figures, tables, and illustrations are embedded in the text at their appropriate positions, not placed at the end of the document. The writing follows the formatting and bibliographic style outlined in the Author Guidelines available on the journal website.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Authors must perform a plagiarism check using a detection tool (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate) before submitting their manuscript. The resulting plagiarism report must be uploaded as a separate file and included among the supplementary materials.
  • Where applicable, ethical approval has been obtained for studies involving human participants or animals, and this is clearly stated in the manuscript.
  • The submission includes the full names of all authors, their institutional affiliations, valid email addresses, and, where available, their ORCID iDs. The corresponding author is clearly identified.
  • The authors have declared any potential competing interests.
