Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The manuscript is single-spaced, uses a 11-point Times New Roman font, employs italics instead of underlining (except for URL addresses), and all figures, tables, and illustrations are embedded in the text at their appropriate positions, not placed at the end of the document. The writing follows the formatting and bibliographic style outlined in the Author Guidelines available on the journal website.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- Authors must perform a plagiarism check using a detection tool (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate) before submitting their manuscript. The resulting plagiarism report must be uploaded as a separate file and included among the supplementary materials.
- Where applicable, ethical approval has been obtained for studies involving human participants or animals, and this is clearly stated in the manuscript.
- The submission includes the full names of all authors, their institutional affiliations, valid email addresses, and, where available, their ORCID iDs. The corresponding author is clearly identified.
- The authors have declared any potential competing interests.
Articles
This section contains original peer-reviewed research articles that contribute to the field of multimedia, information systems, and software engineering.
Review Article
Comprehensive articles that critically review existing literature and developments in the field. Manuscripts must provide clear synthesis and future research directions. Subject to peer review.
Case Report
Detailed presentations of unique or rare cases with educational value, particularly useful in clinical or applied sciences. Peer-reviewed and must include clear learning outcomes.

Authors who publish in the Academic Insight Journal of Multimedia & Information Engineering (AIJMIE) agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant AIJMIE the right of first publication. The work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which permits others to share, copy, distribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided the original author and source are properly cited.
- Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work (e.g., post it to institutional repositories or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in AIJMIE.
- Authors are encouraged to disseminate their work online (e.g., on institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks) before and after submission, as it can lead to productive scholarly exchange and increased citation of the published work.
